1st Annual KClinger's Summer Boogaloo

KClinger’s Tavern, 304 Poplar St. Hanover, is known for it’s huge selection of beers and live music. Live music is in the Tavern every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Owner Bill Klinger is expanding that lineup to an all day fundraising music festival: KClinger’s Summer Boogaloo presented by the Red Hook Brewing Co. Music will take over the ball field behind the Tavern on Saturday July 7, 2007. The proceeds of this event will benefit The Hanover/Adams Rehabilitation and Training Center, (The H.A.R.T. Center), and Hanover’s Guthrie Memorial Library.

Headlining the show will be guitar player Tim Reynolds, who gained notoriety from his song writing collaborations and tours with The Dave Matthews Band. The show will open with Hanover favorites Flat Top and the versatile 6 Cents followed by the Harrisburg based jam band Quagmire Swim Team.

Gates will open at 11:00. The bands will start playing at 12:00. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and sun screen but no outside coolers will be permitted on the Festival grounds, food and beverage concessions will be available. This will be an all-ages day of music, so please have ID ready if you plan to purchase beer.

Tickets will cost $18 in advance or $22 at the gate. Advance tickets go on sale June 1st and will be available at KClinger’s Tavern, The HART Center in New Oxford, Iko’s Music Trade in York and all Appalachian Brewing Co locations.
